The Harbour Master, or staff on duty, will be present on the tide during peak season (beginning of June to end of August).  For the remainder of the year (September to end of May), a VHF listening watch will be maintained.


For emergencies in or around the harbour and coast, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.  At sea, call Humber Coastguard, VHF Ch.16.

We regret to inform you that after long consideration, we have decided to cancel this year’s event. Many of you will know that the Harbour has implemented a number of measures to allow the Harbour to reopen for leisure activities but the number of people that attend the Triathlon, in such a confined area, cannot be done safely. To do so, would require our volunteers and Harbour staff, as well as competitors, to compromise social distancing.

All competitors will be fully refunded over the coming weeks.
We are all disappointed that we have to make this decision but rest assured we will be looking to run the event in 2021.
