The Harbour Master, or staff on duty, will be present on the tide during peak season (beginning of June to end of August).  For the remainder of the year (September to end of May), a VHF listening watch will be maintained.

For emergencies in or around the harbour and coast, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.  At sea, call Humber Coastguard, VHF Ch.16.

Mariners are advised that Wells Harbour Commissioners request that all yachts and other recreational vessels DO NOT VISIT THE PORT OF WELLS during the current outbreak of the virus COVID19.

Unfortunately during this unprecedented situation all the harbour leisure facilities will be closed. We are responding to Government advice to avoid all but essential travel, the likely pressure on public services and the lack of facilities for visitors, we ask that anyone planning a trip to Wells Harbour, delays their trip until the present situation has eased or we are advised differently by the UK Government.

This virus effects us all and has forced significant restrictions on our staff and how we operate day-to-day, with our staff working on a skeleton rota system.

We of course will look forward to welcoming all visitors to our beautiful harbour and town once the current situation has improved.
Wells Harbour Commissioners and the staff would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Stay safe !!
